At Crozet Speech and Learning Center math is not just a subject we work to understand but it is FUN!  And we want to share that fun and love of math with your student!  We have an interactive, relational, and hands on approach to working with students, parents, and teachers to find specifically what concepts and methods students need support in.

Through looking at Virginia Department of Education Standards of Learning as well as the subject matter a student is working on in class we develop a plan of what foundational math concepts a student needs to strengthen while also working on concepts that they are currently learning in their math class.  To strengthen the students' understanding of foundational concepts we use hands on math manipulatives, games, lots of practice of different types of math problems, and a safe place to ask any questions that may arise.
