FILLING A NEED

Crozet Speech And Learning Center Founders

At Crozet Speech and Learning Center, Nina and Alison set out to create their business to stand apart from those of traditional speech pathology models. Instead of solely addressing your child's speech, they aim to make an environment where other crucial support systems could coexist. With the idea of crafting a more holistic approach to your child’s development, Nina and Alison work to not only fill a need in their community, but to provide a place unlike any other: Crozet Speech and Learning Center. Disabilities and delays are often not narrowed to one sector of therapy and require multi-disciplinary techniques in order to address larger issues as a whole. With the center’s diverse types of therapy offered, you can be sure we’ll create the right program for all of your child’s needs, through the convenience of one center. In addition to the center’s ability to create a connected team that collaborates on how to most benefit your child, the center even offers co-therapies to meld certain developmental needs.

Alison and Nina had been working as independent private speech pathologists prior to opening the center. Both of them missed the collaboration and benefits that a team can provide to a family. A mutual friend introduced Nina and Alison in June of 2013 and together with their amazing team of colleagues they have served hundreds of families in the area.
