Caroline Wilke graduated in 2013 with an M.T. in Elementary Education and B.A. in Religious Studies from The University of Virginia. She fell in love with the area during her time at The University and purchased a home in Charlottesville following graduation. She then began teaching first grade at The Covenant School, where she developed a passion for developing young readers. After three years as a first grade teacher, Caroline decided to devote her summers to private tutoring, where she enjoyed helping former students prepare for the next academic year. In 2016, she transitioned to the third grade classroom and became the lead math teacher. In addition, she served as a consultant by helping a private institution implement their new math curriculum, which included leading professional development for elementary math teachers. As a private tutor, Caroline works with elementary students of all abilities in reading, writing, and mathematics. She especially enjoys helping children increase their confidence and develop a love for the learning process. Outside of tutoring, her hobbies include coaching basketball for The Covenant School and The Virginia Basketball Academy and doing home renovation projects.
