Occupational Therapist
Hina graduated from University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston in 2019 with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy. She began working at a pediatric outpatient clinic in Houston, immediately after graduating. Since moving to Virginia in July 2020, Hina has been working with children in the clinical setting to build functional and occupational skills including activities of daily living, pre-writing, fine motor and, bilateral coordination skills, visual motor and visual perceptual skills for children with variable diagnoses ranging from Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, developmental disorders, Down’s syndrome, genetic disorders and physical disabilities. She enjoys working with children of all age groups and values collaborating with children’s families, caregivers, and other care providers to enhance her therapy services.
Hina’s undergraduate degree is in general dentistry, and she has an advanced diploma in Orofacial pain and Temporomandibular disorders from Minnesota. She switched her path from dentistry to Occupational therapy in 2016. Hina is passionate about working with people and believes in holistic treatment. She and her husband love to travel and enjoy family time with their 6 year old daughter and their newborn son. After living in Arizona, Minnesota, and Texas during the last 13 years, they have recently established their permanent home in Crozet, Virginia. She is excited to be a part of our CSLC team.
